Parwati (ENG, RUS & INDO pattern)
Parwati (or Parvati) is the wife of the Hindu god Shiva and the mother of Ganesha. I chose this name for this pattern because it’s also my sister’s name, so whenever I see this design I remember her.
I also found that goddess Parwati is often painted with 4 arms, holding a lotus flower in one of her hand. So this is another reason why I chose Parwati.
This is my 4th pattern & my first coaster pattern. The design is inspired from a lotus flower, consists of 15 rounds. All abbreviations & special stitches are explained in the pattern detail. Suggested hook = 1.50 mm, suggested thread = No.5, 100 gr. By using the suggested the result will be 14 cm in diameter.
I hope you like my first coaster pattern. If you have any question, you can ask me at our Facebook group “Croche.nesia Discuss Group“. You can also post your picture of my design created by you & get the update of my upcoming designs. See you there!
